Tomorrow's the day!

After a few financial set backs - we've finally gotten the capital to purchase the plane tickets (oof, what a price tag!) which means we can put down the deposit for our hotel/car as well! I'm so excited! What's even better is, that with the plane tickets & 20% or our hotel/car paid - we've got the remaining balance in a very manageable state which means no stressing about saving! We can save as much as we have to - and probably more - with ten weeks after final payment is due to save even more for all those many souvenirs I'm going to buy :)

I'm so excited!

In other news, I've purchased a new camera - a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ8 - that will be such a fantastic treat in Scotland! I even got a wide lens attachment so that I can take some breath-taking landscape shots. I'm feeling very renewed about this whole trip - just as I did at the beginning - and I hope that nothing gets in our way... Where's some wood to knock on?!

I think we're going to buy the tickets and put down the deposit this weekend - so on Monday I'm coming to work and telling them I need 12 days (or 96 hours) of vacation and if they don't give it to me then I'm going to raise some hell! Just kidding, I know they'll give it to me - I am giving them a six month plus notice.

I'm so excited! I don't know how else to say it! Oh! And I'm also thrilled to be going to Scotland and having someone to meet up with! Karen, you best not back out now :P
